When providing files for printing to Valley Print Logistics:
- Print-ready PDF files are preferred.
- Be sure that any images or graphics are high-resolution—300 dpi is optimal, 200 dpi is adequate.
- Images pulled off the Internet are generally 72 dpi, low-resolution for online viewing, and not good for printing.
- If any elements touch the edge of the page, make sure page layouts have 0.125” (1/8 inch) Bleed & Crops.
- It is recommended that full-color documents/graphics be CMYK Color format and/or PMS Color. RGB Color is not recommended.
Additionally, when sending files for Promo Products/Apparel:
- Please be sure that your graphics are specifically Vector-format, not Raster-format, unless printing in Full-Color.
- Typical Vector-format file types are AI, EPS, SVG; typical Raster-format file types are JPG, PNG, TIF. The PDF file format can be used for either file type.
When providing files for mailing to Valley Print Logistics:
- Comma delimited files are preferred.
- Be sure the street address, city, state and zip code are in separate fields.
